Synopsis

A dramatic thriller about dark passions, a beautiful Harpist and a fateful journey, leading from a small island in the Baltic Sea to the remote westcoast of Ireland.
On a remote island in the Baltic Sea the dreamy bookshop clerk Ferdinand comes across Rebecca, an Irish Harpist, the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. For Ferdinand she seems the unattainable dream. Until he meets Henry, a sophisticated and enigmatic stranger. Under Henry's guidance Ferdinand follows Rebecca to Hamburg, where he learns to observe and slowly engrosses himself in her life.
When Ferdinand finally meets Rebecca, a delicate love blossoms between the two. Henry, the brotherly friend and teacher turns into an enraged enemy. Wherever the lovers go, a trail of darkness and cruel violence follows in their wake. In a stormy night on the rugged coast of Ireland, it comes to a murderous duell - the final confrontation between love and obsession.
