Bogdan (42), a piano player, buries his wife Izabella, a famous opera singer taken away by
cancer. He has been in love with her his whole life since he was a small boy: both come from
the same small village in rural Poland, both set out to conquer the world together. Now she’s
gone, and he’s lost . He stays at his mothers farm in Poland suppresses his talent as a pianist
and lives a monotonous life. Everything changes when Bogdan buys a new cow.
Bogdan believes that the cow is the reincarnation of his wife. Is it magic, or is he just crazy?
Father, Son & Holy Cow is a bittersweet comedy about family, religion, the various portrayals
of belief and the here and now of music. And above all it is a story about love, about losing
love, finding love, and about letting go when the moment is right.
