For 16-year-old LUCIE the only thing that gives meaning to her life is her worship of a withdrawn and inaccessible female pop star. Her walls and the pages of her diary are covered with pictures of her idol. This is how she escapes her dull existence in a small French town, where she lives with her mother, who is obsessed by TV personalities. Until the day a chance occurrence allows the young fan to become part of her idol’s entourage. From then on she innocently dives more and more into an ambiguous, passionate, crushing and humiliating relationship with the star of her dreams, with no other obsession than making her happy. But the neurotic diva is far too much concerned with herself to notice and to understand how deeply Lucie is fallen for her inside her soul. In attempting to bring back the man who has left her idol and whom the idol can’t live without, Lucie instigates her own downfall.
