Synopsis
In a cheap motel room Daniela and Bruno spend the night together. They hardly know the other one, only met a few hours ago in a café. They are strangers and after having made love to each other they commence, though hesitantly at first, telling the other one about their lives. They are painting a picture of themselves out of half-true and half-made-up stories, out of transparent lies that are only made to be seen through by the other one. Every single word and every single touch reveals the insurmountable distance between their longing to be close to someone and their fear to allow that closeness. Passionate heat and insensible coldness, fragility and callousness, closeness and distance are alternating again and again in those few hours. In the end two strangers will have become intimates, will have found love and have lost it again within a single night.
